The Vice Lord-Lieutenant of County Down, Catherine Champion DL, inspected members of 206 (Ulster) Battery Royal Artillery after taking the Royal Coronation Gun Salute at Hillsborough Castle on 6th May 2023. She was accompanied by the Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet for 2023-2024 Katie Parker.

North Down and Ards Borough Council held a Veterans’ Day celebration in Newtownards in June 2023. A fine act of Remembrance. The parade of over 250 Veterans were led by The Band, Bugles, Pipes and Drums of The Royal Irish Regiment.
