National Honours

About

National Honours are awarded twice a year to mark the New Year and His Majesty The King’s Official Birthday in June. Honours are announced via the Honours Lists, which are published via the London Gazette (Honours List). Anyone can receive an award if they reach the required standard of merit or service.

How to apply?

Anybody can nominate someone for an honour. If you need guidance, please contact us by email using the Lieutenancy email address or submit a request via the Contact Us form.
