The Lord-Lieutenant, Gawn Rowan Hamilton, attended the Remembrance Service in Bangor, Co Down, which was also attended by the Mayor of Ards and North Down, Gillian McCollum. He was accompanied by the Lord-Lieutenant’s Cadet, Company Sergeant Major Zara Dowell.

The Vice Lord-Lieutenant, Catherine Champion, laid the first wreath at the War Memorial in Holywood on Remembrance Sunday. Many wreaths were laid by individuals and organisations. She is pictured with Holywood Primary School Principal, Dr Graham Walker, and the P7 members of the Student Council who laid a wreath, Theo, Annie and Claire.
The Vice Lord-Lieutenant, Catherine Champion, attended the Newtownards Sea Cadets Royal Naval Parade 2025. Inspecting Officer was Commander (Sea Cadet Corps) Graham Tait, Royal Naval Reserve, who had come over from Scotland. The Cadets and Volunteers put on an excellent evening for their guests.


The Lord-Lieutenant, accompanied by the Lord-Lieutenant’s Cadet, Company Sergeant Major Zara Dowell, welcomed HM King Charles and HM Queen Camilla to Banbridge in March 2025, during the three day Royal Visit to Northern Ireland.
